Spotlight: Kaelyn Collins – Redefining Radiant Smiles During National Dental Hygiene Month
October isn’t just pumpkins, spice, treats, and Halloween – it’s also National Dental Hygiene Month. As the month wraps up, we’re celebrating by spotlighting Kaelyn Collins — a dental assistant, aspiring dentist, and entrepreneur who’s turning her passion of mastering the art of denture aesthetics and bright smiles into purpose.
Kaelyn is the founder of Relli Radiant Smilez, a Georgia-based business offering premium, clinically led whitening services that help people feel confident about their smiles from the inside out.

Representation Matters in Dentistry
Did you know that only 8% of dental assistants are Black — and even fewer, just 3.8% of dentists are Black? ::sips green tea::
With over five years of experience, Kaelyn brings both clinical expertise and holistic awareness to her practice. Her Pre-Dental Bachelor of Science degree from Tuskegee University built a foundation that allows her to merge science with empathy — creating a care experience centered on education, prevention, and self-confidence.
“Your oral health is tied to your heart, digestion, and even your confidence. Regular checkups prevent bigger issues and are crucial for overall wellbeing. Don’t wait — prevention is everything!”
Kaelyn’s belief reflects a growing awareness: oral health isn’t just about a bright smile — it’s about overall wellness.
Where the Journey Began
We asked Kaelyn what inspired her to enter the dental field — especially as an underrepresented woman.
For her, it started early. Naturally blessed with a beautiful and bright smile, Kaelyn remembers her late grandfather’s daily reminders to “floss and brush.” Add in the encouragement she received from others and her natural curiosity about oral health, and her path toward dentistry felt like a calling.
You CAN do it TOO
Kaelyn believes no dream is off the table — especially for those curious about healthcare careers. For anyone pursuing a pre-dental degree or simply wanting to create better habits, she shares these self-care and study tips:
-
Stay hydrated and make time for rest.
-
Keep study sessions short and sharp — use flashcards, practice quizzes, and visuals.
-
Add calming music to help you focus.
-
Remember: balance is essential.
These simple practices are part of what keeps Kaelyn grounded and motivated as she continues her journey in dentistry.
Finally… Let’s Talk – Talk Toothpaste
Kaelyn’s passion for oral health extends to the products she chooses. She’s open to fluoride-free alternatives that strengthen enamel and reduce sensitivity naturally — and Talk Toothpaste fits right in.
“My teeth feel healthy and clean — naturally,” says Kaelyn.
She loves that Talk Toothpaste uses hydroxyapatite, a mineral that rebuilds enamel, helping to protect teeth and prevent sensitivity without fluoride. What stands out most to her:
✨ The refreshing minty freshness
✨ Minimal mess
✨ How it combats cold sensitivity
We’re inspired by Kaelyn’s journey — proof that representation, passion, and prevention matter!
